Public Notice - Compulsory Acquisition of Land

Notice is hereby given that Palerang Council intends to acquire the land identified as Lot 1, DP1119030, Parish of Araluen, County of St Vincent.
This action is to be taken in accordance with Sections 186 and 187 of the Local Government Act (NSW) 1993, and the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act NSW 1991.
The land currently forms part of the Araluen Catholic Cemetery.
Interested parties may make submissions regarding this matter by no later than 18 July 2008. After consideration of any submission, application may then be made by Palerang Council to the Minister for Local Government for approval of this acquisition.
